The 595cc single-cylinder of the TT 600 is one of those engines that crosses decades without ageing: SOHC, four valves, air cooling, dry sump with separate oil tank, fuelling handled by the YDIS dual-carburettor Teikei system. Born in the early 1980s and faithful to its technical substance ever since, it arrives on the 1998 TT 600 R with a completely redesigned chassis — 46mm Paioli forks, Öhlins monoshock, aluminium swingarm, 21-inch front wheel — and an uncompromising pure enduro purpose. The TT 600 RE, which joins the R with electric starting and slightly more accessible geometry, shares the same mechanical heart and the same direct, unfiltered character. On an air-cooled carburetted bike with no engine management electronics, the exhaust sound is the element that communicates the engine's character more than anything else: raw, present, physical. The products in this category are sports exhausts designed to replace the original muffler on the TT 600 R and TT 600 RE. The work concerns the lateral end can only: the original headers and the front section of the exhaust system remain in place. Fitting is carried out on the bike's original mounting points with no special adapters required, and each exhaust is supplied with a complete fitting kit. To ensure a proper seal and correct alignment, we recommend having the installation carried out by a qualified mechanic.
The weight saving over the stock muffler is tangible and meaningful on the whole bike — on an enduro that is often taken into demanding off-road situations, reducing weight on the exhaust side has a direct impact on handling. In terms of sound, the TT 600's carburetted single — already dense, direct and deeply mechanical in its voice — gains a more open and defined note with a sports exhaust, with a tone that brings out the raw and authentic character of this engine. In terms of behaviour, a different management of exhaust gas flow can favour a more responsive throttle and, in certain riding conditions, a greater feeling of engine readiness.
Exhausts in this category are available exclusively with an oval-section 400 mm sleeve. The oval section is an aesthetic choice that integrates with the TT 600's lines more harmoniously than a conventional round can, accentuating the visual character of the bike.

We operate direct from the manufacturer, without intermediaries: a direct relationship that allows us to maintain consistent quality standards and give every order the attention it deserves.
Every sports exhaust is supplied with a standard dB killer included. Our exhausts are homologated for road use throughout Europe and Switzerland: the homologation certificate is included and is valid with the dB killer fitted. Removing the dB killer invalidates the product's homologation. For those who want to reduce the sound level further, the No-Noise option is available, with an internally welded filter that provides a perceptible reduction in decibels without significantly affecting the exhaust's overall behaviour. As this involves replacing only the end can on a carburetted bike like the TT 600 R and TT 600 RE, no modifications to the carburetion or fuelling system are normally required. The bike adapts to the new configuration without any particular issues.
