What we offer for the MT-09 2024 is a full exhaust system, not a simple replacement silencer. The original exhaust is designed as a single unit — headers, mid-pipe and silencer form an inseparable assembly that does not allow the replacement of the end can alone. Our system replaces the entire exhaust path, from the engine outlet to the terminal, maintaining compatibility with the original mounting points without requiring structural modifications. The silencer is positioned laterally: the underbelly layout of the MT-09 2024, constrained by the space required to correctly house the catalytic converter in compliance with Euro 5+ specifications, does not allow the underseat positioning typical of previous generations. The mounting kit is included in the supply. We recommend installation by a qualified mechanic to ensure correct and lasting fitment. Choosing the catalysed version results in no fuelling issues or warning light activation: during the first rides a short break-in period of approximately 50 km in urban conditions with varied engine speeds may be needed to allow the sports catalytic converter to reach its maximum effectiveness — motorway use is not recommended during the first 50 km. Those who opt for the non-catalysed version should bear in mind that the MT-09 2024 is fitted with two lambda sensors: removing the catalytic converter means the second sensor will not match the values expected by the ECU, generating fault code P0420 and triggering the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) warning light. The Lambda Optimizer + AMC Automatic MIL Clear Kit combines two dedicated modules: the Lambda Optimizer connects in series between the second sensor and the original wiring, optimising fuelling at low and mid revs, while the AMC Automatic MIL Clear connects to the OBD diagnostic port and automatically manages the MIL warning light and faults such as P0420 — plug & play, no permanent modifications. The AMC Automatic MIL Clear is also available separately and acts exclusively on the MIL warning light, clearing it automatically without affecting engine performance or parameters — the simplest solution for those who simply want to eliminate the warning light. The OBD2 Diagnostic Kit connects to the motorcycle's diagnostic port and allows fault codes to be read in real time, cleared, and ECU parameters to be monitored via smartphone. It is worth knowing that extensive testing on Euro 5+ models has shown that the second lambda sensor on these engines is particularly sensitive and sometimes unpredictable: sporadically, we have recorded MIL warning light activations even on homologated and catalysed exhausts, and even on completely standard motorcycles after a simple wash. Those who want complete peace of mind in every situation may therefore wish to consider these kits regardless of their choice of catalytic converter. The non-catalysed version is in any case reserved for track or private road use, within the limits permitted by local regulations.

The dB killer is included as standard. It is not officially removable: its removal invalidates the homologation. For those who want further noise reduction, the No-Noise dB killer is available, featuring a welded internal filter that further reduces decibels without significantly affecting performance.
