This category brings together the two generations of the Tracer 700: the 2016-2020 version, homologated to Euro 4, with its essential philosophy and no active electronics — no traction control, no selectable mappings, just the CP2 with 74.8 HP responding directly to the rider's wrist on a steel frame with an aluminium swingarm 50mm longer than the MT-07, a 1,450mm wheelbase and 196 kg ready to ride — and the 2020-2021 version, updated to comply with Euro 5 regulations, with a revised engine at 73.4 HP, shorter final drive ratio for more immediate throttle response, new 41mm cartridge fork and monoshock both adjustable in preload and rebound for the first time on the Tracer 700, completely redesigned front end with twin LED Twin Eyes headlights and handlebar widened by 34mm. The two generations share the same fundamental mechanical DNA, but differ in their original exhaust system, which is why we have developed and homologated separate solutions for each production interval. For both generations we offer a full exhaust system that replaces the entire original exhaust, from the engine outlet to the terminal. This is a necessary choice given the configuration of the Tracer 700's original exhaust, which is designed as a single unit and does not allow the silencer alone to be replaced. The muffler is single, positioned under the engine with a low exit near the swingarm, a solution that keeps the centre of gravity low and the masses centralised. The connection is made on the original mounting points, without structural modifications, and the mounting kit is included in the supply.

Compared to the stock exhaust, the main benefits involve weight reduction, improved sound character and a smoother, more direct throttle response. The CP2 already has a distinctive voice in stock form thanks to its asymmetric 270° firing order: a performance exhaust helps make it more defined and present, especially at mid-to-high rpm where the twin expresses the best of its delivery. On the weight front, reducing unsprung mass near the swingarm on an already one of the lightest motorcycles in its category has a direct effect: the rear end becomes more precise and handling in tight sections improves noticeably.

All available models are homologated for use on public roads throughout Europe and Switzerland, with the homologation certificate included in the supply. The catalytic converter is available as a selectable option on the product page: to maintain full road compliance on both generations, which are fitted with a catalysed exhaust as standard, the catalysed version must be chosen.
