This category brings together exhausts for the Yamaha MT-07 across the three generations produced up to 2024: the 2014-2016 version, the most essential, homologated to Euro 3, with zero electronics and a traditional fork; the 2017-2020 version, homologated to Euro 4, with updated aesthetics, stiffer fork, larger front discs and standard ABS; and the 2021-2024 version, homologated to Euro 5, with new LED headlight, updated dashboard and further improved braking system. For all generations we offer a full exhaust system for the MT-07 that replaces the entire original exhaust, from the collector to the terminal. The original MT-07 exhaust is designed as an inseparable unit that does not allow replacement of the silencer alone: our system replaces the entire exhaust path maintaining compatibility with the original mounting points without requiring structural modifications. The silencer is positioned underbelly, a solution that enhances the line of the motorcycle by freeing up the sides and accentuating the sporting profile of the naked. The mounting kit is included in the supply. We recommend installation by a qualified mechanic to ensure correct and lasting fitment.

The CP2 is an engine with a well-defined character even in standard form: the rhythmic and low sound generated by the 270° crankshaft offset is one of the most recognisable traits of the MT-07, the one that immediately sets it apart from any other conventional parallel twin. A sports exhaust for the MT-07 liberates it and makes it fuller and more defined, enhancing an engine that expresses itself best between 25% and 75% throttle opening — exactly the most common riding range on the road. The weight reduction compared to the original exhaust, dimensioned to meet the acoustic and emissions limits of each homologation, lightens the motorcycle in a peripheral area: on a naked already oriented towards lightness like the MT-07, every gram saved contributes to the agility that is the defining trait of this motorcycle in every riding condition. Optimised flow management along the entire exhaust path also promotes a more responsive throttle and a more linear power delivery.

All available models are homologated for use on public roads throughout Europe and Switzerland, with the homologation certificate included in the supply. The catalytic converter is available as a selectable option on the product page: to maintain full road compliance it is necessary to choose the catalysed version. Choosing the catalysed version results in no fuelling issues or need for remapping: the ECU manages the new exhaust system without any additional intervention, although a short adaptation period during the first rides is normal. Those who choose the non-catalysed version should consider that fuelling may not be optimal and that a remap will likely be necessary to get the best out of the exhaust system. The non-catalysed version is reserved for track use or contexts where road compliance is not required, within the limits permitted by local regulations. The dB killer is included as standard; for those requiring further noise reduction, the No-Noise dB killer is available, with an internally welded filter, also selectable on the product page.
