The original MT-07 exhaust is designed as an inseparable unit that does not allow replacement of the silencer alone: our system replaces the entire exhaust path maintaining compatibility with the original mounting points without requiring structural modifications. The silencer is positioned underbelly, a solution that enhances the line of the motorcycle by freeing up the sides and accentuating the sporting profile of the naked. The mounting kit is included in the supply. We recommend installation by a qualified mechanic to ensure correct and lasting fitment.

All models in this category are approved for use on public roads throughout Europe and Switzerland with Euro 3 certification: the homologation certificate is included in the supply. The catalytic converter is available as an option in the product page drop-down menu: to maintain full road compliance it is necessary to choose the catalysed version. Choosing the catalysed version results in no fuelling issues or need for remapping: the ECU manages the new exhaust system without any additional intervention, although a short adaptation period during the first rides is normal. Those who opt for the non-catalysed version should consider that fuelling may not be optimal and that a remap will likely be necessary to get the best out of the exhaust system. The non-catalysed version is reserved for track use or contexts where road compliance is not required, within the limits permitted by local regulations.

On this Euro 3 CP2 the benefits of a full exhaust system are felt directly and without any electronic mediation. The sound of the 270° crankshaft offset is already one of the most distinctive among parallel twins on the road — that irregular and muscular rhythm that closely resembles a large single-cylinder — but the original exhaust system, dimensioned to meet Euro 3 standards, compresses its expressiveness. A sports exhaust liberates it completely, making it fuller and more defined especially in the range between 3,000 and 6,000 rpm where the CP2 expresses its best torque. On the weight front, reducing the underbelly area has a direct effect on unsprung mass and centre of gravity: on a naked already light and agile like the MT-07 2014-2016, without any active electronics, this improvement translates into an even more immediate and communicative response in every riding condition.

The dB killer is included as standard. It is not officially removable: its removal invalidates the homologation.
