This category brings together the two generations of the T-Max 530: the 2012-2016 version, homologated to Euro 3, which encompasses the 2015 restyling with inverted fork and Full LED while maintaining the most mechanical and direct philosophy of the family, and the 2017-2019 version, homologated to Euro 4, with YCC-T ride-by-wire, two D-MODE mappings, traction control and smart key as standard on all variants — base, SX and DX. The two generations share the same fundamental mechanical DNA but differ in their original exhaust system, which is why we have developed and homologated separate solutions for each production interval. For both generations we offer a full exhaust system that replaces the entire original exhaust, from the engine outlet to the terminal. This is a necessary choice given the configuration of the T-Max 530's original exhaust, which is designed as a single unit and does not allow the silencer alone to be replaced. The silencer is single, in a lateral position as on the original, but with a completely different aesthetic result: the sporting shape, materials and finishes of our terminals visually transform one of the most characterising elements of the scooter — the one that more than any other communicates the character of its rider. The connection is made on the original mounting points, without structural modifications, and the mounting kit is included in the supply. We recommend installation by a qualified mechanic to ensure correct and lasting fitment.

Compared to the stock exhaust, the main benefits involve weight reduction, improved sound character and a smoother, more direct throttle response. The T-Max twin already has a deep and rounded voice as standard that sets it clearly apart from conventional scooters: a sports exhaust liberates it and makes it fuller and more defined, especially in the everyday riding range where torque and thrust express themselves best. On the weight front, reducing the weight of the high lateral area of the scooter lowers the centre of gravity and improves agility in low-speed manoeuvres — exactly the context in which the T-Max is used most.

All available models are homologated for use on public roads throughout Europe and Switzerland, with the homologation certificate included in the supply. The catalytic converter is available as a selectable option on the product page: to maintain full road compliance on both generations, which are fitted with a catalysed exhaust as standard, the catalysed version must be chosen. The dB killer is included as standard; for those requiring further noise reduction, the No-Noise dB killer is available, with an internally welded filter, also selectable on the product page.

Every exhaust is handcrafted in Lombardy, in the province of Bergamo, made to order, with internal quality control before dispatch. Direct sales from the manufacturer eliminate intermediaries and ensure a transparent relationship both on the product and on after-sales support. Under normal conditions no ECU remapping is required when choosing the catalysed version, although optimisations can be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Those who choose the non-catalysed version should consider that fuelling may not be optimal and that a remap will likely be necessary to get the best out of the exhaust system. The non-catalysed version is reserved for track use or contexts where road compliance is not required, within the limits permitted by local regulations.
