The product in this category is a replacement silencer, in a dual configuration with right and left lateral outlets. It replaces the original mufflers by connecting to the existing mounting points, without touching the headers or the mid-section of the exhaust system, which remain in place. The mounting kit is included and compatibility with the original bracket and flanges has been verified. For best results, installation by a qualified mechanic is recommended.

Every silencer comes with a standard dB killer included in the kit. Removing the dB killer is technically possible but voids any homologation and is not something we recommend for road use.

The engine management system of the CBR 1100 XX and X-Eleven is robust and tends to adapt without issues to the change in back-pressure introduced by the new silencer. No electronic warnings are expected as a result of this swap.
