The product we manufacture for the CBR 600 F 2011-2013 is a single silencer with lateral positioning, as a replacement for the original muffler. The original headers remain in place: the intervention is limited to the terminal section of the system. The mounting kit is included and compatibility with the standard fittings is guaranteed. Installation is recommended to be carried out by a qualified mechanic, to ensure correct fastening and alignment of the silencer.
The stock muffler on this version is functional but bulky and not particularly lightweight. Replacing the silencer only does not normally require any intervention on the ECU (Engine Control Unit). On this version of the CBR 600 F, no specific mapping adjustments are required following installation of the silencer.
