Roadsitalia Exhaust
The parallel twin engine of the CRF 1100 L Africa Twin 2024 is one of the most versatile powerplants in the adventure segment: torque available from low revs, linear power delivery, a character suited to both long-distance tarmac riding and mixed terrain. It is a platform built for riders who actually use their bike, not just on weekends. And on a motorcycle with this kind of vocation, every component has to earn its place - exhausts included. For those who want to explore the options available for this family, a full overview can be found among the exhausts for Honda.
The product you find in this category is a replacement silencer, laterally positioned as per the original configuration. It replaces the stock end can only, leaving headers, mid-pipes and the entire front section of the exhaust system untouched. Compatibility is guaranteed with the original mounting points, and every kit comes complete with all the necessary hardware and brackets for fitting. For best results, we recommend having the silencer fitted by a qualified mechanic, especially for the initial installation.
The most immediate benefit is weight reduction compared to the original end can - on an adventure bike of this size, that is far from a minor detail. The second aspect concerns the exhaust note: the silencer delivers a fuller, more defined sound with greater presence in the mid-range, without going to extremes. The aim is not to transform the character of the bike, but to remove that tendency towards tonal flatness typical of OEM-approved end cans on modern platforms.
These exhausts are handcrafted in Lombardy, in the province of Bergamo. Every piece is made to order and subjected to careful quality control before shipping. They are sold directly, with no intermediaries, and whoever answers your questions knows these exhausts inside out - with everything that entails in terms of support and product traceability.
Every silencer comes supplied with a standard dB killer included. Removing it invalidates the product's homologation and is therefore not recommended for road use. For those who need an even more acoustically contained solution, the No-Noise option is available: an internally welded filter that further lowers the sound level without significantly affecting power delivery. The option can be selected directly on the product page.
As this is a replacement of the end can only, the ECU does not normally require any remapping. The silencer integrates into the existing system without altering engine management parameters, and the original upstream section remains unchanged. Under standard operating conditions, no additional electronic intervention is expected.
Updated production lead times are shown directly at checkout. Once the order has been dispatched, a tracking code is automatically sent for parcel monitoring. For any questions before purchasing, we invite you to consult the FAQ section or contact us via the Contacts page or live chat: we respond in a direct and technical manner.
To optimise the ECU as well, our Alientech Powergate 4 remapping kit for Honda Africa Twin 1100 (2020-2026) is available, with up to 4 maps included, calibrated on the bike configuration. The map also removes the MIL warning light, which can come on with the non-catalysed version.
Scrolling through the product list below you will find the available models for this configuration. The differences between variants relate mainly to aesthetic aspects: end can shape, material, finish. Go to the product page to view detailed photos, read the technical specifications and configure your silencer by selecting the No-Noise version if required.
