The 90° V-twin of the VTR 1000 F was a bold departure from Honda's late-Nineties lineup: muscular architecture, strong power delivery and a character that made no effort to appear refined. A sports bike built to entertain, with an engine that in the low and mid rev range can be as generous as it is immediate. For those who still own this bike — or have brought one back on the road — finding components that enhance its identity without altering it is part of the pleasure. Our exhausts for Honda are born from exactly this need.

The product in this category is a pair of replacement silencers, with left and right lateral outlets, designed to replace both original mufflers while retaining the stock mounting points. This is not a full exhaust system: the original headers remain in place. The replacement takes place at the end-can junction on both sides, with a fitting kit included in the package. For best results, installation by a qualified mechanic is always recommended.

Compared to the stock mufflers, the pair of silencers offers a tangible weight reduction on both sides of the bike, particularly noticeable on a motorcycle whose original homologated exhaust system was never especially lightweight. The sound character becomes fuller and more defined: the VTR 1000 F with this symmetrical configuration gains a voice more in keeping with its twin-cylinder architecture, without becoming artificial. The improved exhaust flow management may contribute to a slightly more responsive throttle feel in the mid rev range; we do not indicate specific power increases.

The dB killer is included as standard inside each silencer. Please note that its removal invalidates the product's homologation and is not officially permitted.

As this is a terminal-only replacement, no modifications to the ECU mapping are normally required. The VTR 1000 F engine, by its analogue nature and absence of complex electronic systems, requires no particular intervention following the replacement of the end cans.
