Ours is a sports silencer designed to replace the original end can in the lateral position, keeping the headers and the rest of the stock exhaust system intact. This is not a full exhaust system: the modification concerns exclusively the end muffler, which is removed and replaced with our component. Fitting is carried out on the original mounts, with the fixing kit included in the package. We recommend installation by a qualified mechanic to ensure a correct and lasting result.
The most immediate benefit is weight reduction: our silencer weighs significantly less than the stock end can, with positive effects on overall weight distribution. The exhaust note gains body and definition, with a more present character especially at higher revs, without becoming something unsuitable for everyday road use. In terms of rideability, replacing the exhaust end can may contribute to smoother gas flow management and, in some configurations, favour a more responsive and linear throttle response. Since only the end can is being replaced, no modifications to the ECU mapping are normally required.
For the GSX 650 F, a catalytic converter option is available, selectable directly from the drop-down menu on the product page. The catalysed version allows road use in compliance with current regulations, keeping the exhaust end can within the prescribed limits. Those who opt for the version without a catalytic converter generally do so for a different intended use, independently assessing the homologation implications involved.
The dB killer is included as standard inside the silencer. Its removal invalidates the product's homologation and is not officially permitted. For those who wish to further reduce sound emissions, the internal No-Noise filter is available as an option, welded inside the body, which significantly lowers the sound level without materially affecting the overall behaviour of the end can. In the configuration, it is possible to choose the length of the silencer sleeve: 285 mm or 400 mm. The difference is primarily aesthetic and relates to the lateral dimensions of the end can, allowing the final appearance to be tailored to personal visual preferences or practical installation requirements.
