The sports silencer for the Z800 IE 2012-2016 is a muffler designed to replace the original silencer in its lateral position, leaving the standard headers and connections unchanged. The kit includes all the hardware and connectors necessary, developed for this specific version. We recommend entrusting the fitting to a qualified mechanic to ensure a precise and lasting result.

For this application, a choice of silencer sleeve length is available: 285 mm or 400 mm. The 285 mm version is the more contained solution in terms of size, with a profile that fits cleanly into the lateral line of the motorcycle without adding bulk. The 400 mm version offers a more assertive visual presence and greater internal volume, which can influence the overall sound output of the silencer. Every silencer is supplied with a standard dB killer included in the kit. Removing the dB killer invalidates the product's homologation and is not officially supported. For those who use the motorcycle in contexts where noise containment is a priority — urban routes, residential areas, personal requirements — the No-Noise option is available: an internally welded filter that further reduces the sound level without significantly affecting the characteristics of the silencer. It can be selected on the product page alongside the sleeve length.

As this involves only the replacement of the silencer, the Z800 IE's ECU does not normally require any remapping. The original system remains in its standard configuration and the modification is contained enough not to cause any electronic issues.
