The sports silencer for the Z750 2007-2012 is a muffler designed to replace the original silencer in its lateral position, leaving the standard headers and connections unchanged. Mounting uses the motorcycle's original fittings without structural modifications, and the kit includes all the hardware necessary for installation. We recommend entrusting the fitting to a qualified mechanic to ensure a correct and lasting result.
For this application, a choice of silencer sleeve length is available: 285 mm or 400 mm. The 285 mm version is more compact and discreet, with a profile that integrates without excess into the lateral lines of the motorcycle. The 400 mm version has a more assertive aesthetic presence and greater internal volume that can influence the overall sound quality of the silencer. Every silencer is supplied with a standard dB killer included in the kit. Removing the dB killer invalidates the product's homologation and is not officially supported. For those requiring greater noise containment — urban routes, residential areas, personal preference — the No-Noise option is available: an internally welded filter that further reduces the sound level without significantly affecting the characteristics of the silencer. It can be selected on the product page alongside the sleeve length and catalytic converter option.
As this involves only the replacement of the silencer, the Z750's ECU does not normally require any remapping. The original system remains in its standard configuration and the modification is contained enough not to cause any electronic issues.
