The sports silencer for the Versys 650 2006-2011 is a muffler designed to replace the original silencer in its under-engine configuration with lateral exit, leaving the standard headers and connections unchanged. Mounting uses the motorcycle's original fittings without structural modifications, and the kit includes all the hardware necessary for installation. We recommend entrusting the fitting to a qualified mechanic to ensure a correct and lasting result.
The original Versys 650 silencer is far from lightweight, and replacing it with our sports exhaust produces a tangible weight reduction at the rear of the motorcycle. The acoustic tone improves in quality and definition, with a fuller and more present voice that enhances the character of the parallel twin without turning it into something it is not. In terms of engine response, more efficient exhaust gas flow management can favour a smoother power delivery and make throttle response feel more immediate under certain riding conditions, both on road and on mixed routes.

The catalysed version is the right choice for those who use the motorcycle on public roads and want to remain compliant with current regulations. Those who use the bike more freely can opt for the configuration without a catalytic converter.
Every silencer is supplied with a standard dB killer included in the kit. Removing the dB killer invalidates the product's homologation and is not officially supported. For those requiring greater noise reduction — daily routes, residential areas, use in noise-sensitive conditions — the No-Noise option is available: an internally welded filter that further reduces the sound level without significantly affecting the characteristics of the exhaust silencer. It can be selected directly on the product page.
As this involves only the replacement of the silencer, the Versys 650's ECU does not normally require any remapping. The original system remains in its standard configuration and the modification is contained enough not to cause any electronic issues.
