The systems in this category are full exhaust systems for Kawasaki Versys 650 from 2023 onwards: headers, link pipes and silencer in a single kit that replaces the entire original exhaust line from the engine outlet to the end can. Mounting points are compatible with the stock geometry and the installation kit is included. With the catalysed version, installation is seamless: no warning lights and no delivery issues. The ECU goes through a normal self-learning phase during the first kilometres — minor variations in power delivery during initial rides are normal and stabilise on their own. Riders who choose the non-catalysed version should consider that delivery may not be fully optimised until a dedicated ECU remap is performed, recommended to fully exploit the system’s potential. The non-catalysed version is intended for track or closed-road use only, within the limits of local regulations.
The Versys 650 2023- is equipped with a second lambda sensor that is particularly sensitive to the presence of the catalytic section. Installing the non-catalysed version, the ECU detects an anomaly in the expected parameters from the second sensor and generates error code P0420, certainly illuminating the MIL warning light. For those who choose this configuration, the AMC Automatic MIL Clear is available, which connects to the diagnostic port and acts exclusively on the MIL warning light by clearing it automatically without modifying engine mapping or parameters. It is worth knowing that thorough testing on these models has shown that the second lambda sensor is particularly sensitive and sometimes unpredictable: sporadically, we have recorded MIL warning light activations even with homologated and catalysed exhausts, and even on completely stock motorcycles after a simple wash. The OBD2 Diagnostic Kit allows fault codes to be read and cleared in real time and ECU parameters to be monitored directly from a smartphone. All systems leave the factory with the dB killer installed: it ensures acoustic compliance for road use and its removal voids homologation. For riders who prefer an even more restrained sound profile, the No-Noise version integrates a welded internal silencer that further reduces decibel levels without noticeably compromising overall performance.
