The Testastretta 11° 937 cc engine in the Ducati Hypermotard 939 was designed to enhance the riding experience in every situation: a liquid-cooled L-twin, Euro 4 homologated, delivering 113 hp and 98 Nm of torque, all housed in a steel trellis frame that has always been the hallmark of the Hypermotard family. From 2016 to 2018, this model represented the perfect blend of Ducati's supermotard DNA and practical, everyday, fun road use. What we offer for this model is a slip-on silencer that replaces only the original end can, keeping the headers and the entire upstream section of the exhaust system untouched. The fitting kit is included in the package and compatibility with the original mounting points is guaranteed, making installation straightforward with no structural modifications required. We nevertheless recommend having the installation carried out by a qualified mechanic to ensure proper fitment and long-lasting sealing.

Replacing the original end can brings tangible, measurable benefits. The first is weight reduction: our silencers are noticeably lighter than the stock unit, and on a motorcycle built to be agile and responsive like the Hypermotard 939, this translates into a perceptible improvement in everyday riding. The second is the exhaust note: the sound becomes fuller and more defined, with an acoustic character that better reflects the personality of the Ducati twin-cylinder compared to the standard end can, without becoming excessively loud.

Each silencer is made through handcrafted manufacturing in Lombardy, at our facility in the province of Bergamo. Production is made to order: each piece is built, internally inspected and shipped only after passing our quality check. This means you buy directly from whoever designs and manufactures the exhaust, with no middlemen. Direct from the manufacturer sales allow us to maintain a direct relationship with the customer, from the selection phase through to after-sales support.

In the product page configurator you can select the version with a catalytic converter. By choosing this option, the silencer incorporates a catalytic converter that allows road-legal use in compliance with current regulations. If you prefer the version without a catalytic converter, please note that its use is limited to competition or off-road contexts.

Since only the silencer is being replaced, the original catalytic section remains in place on the motorcycle. As a result, modifications to the ECU mapping or interventions on the engine management electronics are not normally required. The original upstream system continues to work as intended by the manufacturer, and the ECU does not detect variations that would require recalibration.

All our silencers are supplied with a standard dB killer fitted. Removal of the dB killer is not officially intended and, if carried out, voids the silencer's homologation. For those who want an even quieter exhaust, the No-Noise version is available on selected models: this is a welded internal filter that further reduces decibel levels without significantly affecting performance. The No-Noise version can be selected directly on the product page, where available.
