The sports silencer for the Versys 1000 2012-2016 is a muffler designed to replace the original silencer in its lateral position, leaving the standard headers and connections unchanged. Mounting uses the motorcycle's original fittings without structural modifications, and the kit includes all the hardware necessary for installation. On a motorcycle of this displacement, we recommend entrusting the fitting to a qualified mechanic to ensure a correct and safe result.
For this application, a choice of silencer sleeve length is available: 285 mm or 400 mm. The 285 mm version offers a more compact solution, with a more contained visual impact and a profile that integrates cleanly with the motorcycle's lines. The 400 mm version has a more prominent presence, with a greater internal volume that can influence the overall sound output. The choice between the two depends primarily on aesthetic and size preferences, and can be selected directly on the product page.

Every silencer comes with a standard dB killer included in the kit. Removing the dB killer invalidates the product's homologation and is not officially supported. For those looking for further noise reduction — useful on a tourer used daily or in contexts with more restrictive sound limits — the No-Noise option is available: an internally welded filter that reduces decibels more noticeably, without significantly affecting the characteristics of the exhaust silencer. As this involves only the replacement of the silencer, the Versys 1000's ECU does not normally require any remapping. The original system remains in its standard configuration and the modification is sufficiently limited not to cause any electronic issues.
