The product in this category is a sports silencer designed to replace the original lateral muffler on the 1190 Adventure. This is not a full exhaust system: the original headers and connections remain in place, as does the catalytic section of the original system. Our muffler connects to the original mounting points without structural modifications, and everything needed for installation is included in the package. We still recommend having the fitment carried out by a qualified mechanic to ensure a correct and safe installation.

The most immediate benefit over the stock muffler is weight reduction: the original muffler on the 1190 is quite heavy, and replacing it with our sports exhaust results in a noticeable weight saving, with a direct positive effect on perceived handling. In terms of sound, the tone becomes fuller and more defined, giving a voice that better represents the character of the Austrian V-twin, without unnecessary excess. Every silencer is supplied with a standard dB killer included. Official removal of the dB killer is not provided for and voids the homologation: this is particularly relevant for road use.

When replacing only the muffler on a Euro 3 motorcycle such as the 1190 Adventure, no ECU remapping is normally required. The engine management system does not detect significant changes from the original configuration, and adaptation occurs without any additional electronic intervention.
