The product listed on this page is a slip-on silencer, meaning a muffler that replaces only the original end can on the TRK 502 X. It is not a full exhaust system: the headers and the factory catalytic section remain in place, along with all the components upstream of the silencer. Each muffler is supplied with a fitting kit included, designed to match the original mounting points without any modifications to the frame or brackets. Installation is a relatively straightforward job, but we still recommend entrusting it to a qualified mechanic to ensure a correct and secure fit, especially given the high-mounted exhaust position on this model.
Replacing the original end can on the TRK 502 X with one of our silencers brings tangible benefits. As this is an Euro 5 model, replacing the silencer alone does not involve removing the original catalytic converter, which stays fitted to the bike. This means that ECU remapping or other electronic modifications are not normally required: the motorcycle continues to run as normal with the new muffler installed.
All our silencers are supplied with a standard dB killer fitted. The dB killer is not officially removable: its removal voids the silencer's type approval. For those who want an even lower noise level, a No-Noise version is available on selected models, featuring a welded internal baffle that further reduces decibels without significantly affecting performance.
