Since only the silencer is being replaced, the original catalytic section of the system stays in place. ECU remapping is not normally required: the engine continues to operate with its factory parameters, without generating faults or error codes. Every silencer includes a standard dB killer, already fitted. The dB killer is not officially removable: its removal invalidates the product's type approval. For those who want an even quieter output, the No-Noise version is available on selected models — a welded internal baffle that further reduces decibel levels without significantly affecting performance.
