The silencers in this category are designed to replace the pair of original mufflers on the Speed Triple 1050, leaving the original headers and mid-pipes unchanged. This is not a full exhaust system: the kit consists of two sport silencers that act exclusively on the end section, in a symmetrical configuration with left and right lateral mounting. Fitting takes place on the original brackets, without structural modifications, and each kit includes all the necessary hardware for both mufflers. For best results, we recommend the work of a qualified mechanic, especially for correct alignment and tightening of both support brackets.
In terms of sound, the Triumph three-cylinder responds well to replacement of the end cans: the exhaust note tends to become more defined and fuller, with a tonal character that enhances the mid-range frequencies typical of this architecture. The result is a richer sound more consistent with the bike's character, especially in the mid-throttle range where this engine truly shines. Its presence does not significantly affect flow characteristics.
As this is a replacement of the end cans only, no ECU remapping is normally required. The fuel injection system of the Speed Triple 1050 handles variations in the end section without requiring additional electronic intervention, making installation straightforward and free from engine management issues.
