The Tracer 7 is Yamaha's answer for those looking for a compact, lightweight and accessible sport tourer without giving up riding pleasure. The heart is always the CP2 parallel twin with 270° crankshaft — an engine that has won riders over with its smooth and progressive power delivery, equally at home in daily traffic, on a mountain pass or during a long motorway transfer. From 2021 to the present, the model has gone through two distinct generations, with technical updates that have significantly changed not only the motorcycle but also the configuration of the original exhaust system. This section brings together the full exhaust systems available for the Tracer 7 and Tracer 7 GT, divided into two subcategories by year of production. The distinction is not merely formal: the two generations are fitted with different original exhaust systems, with different Euro standards and configurations that are not interchangeable. Before purchasing, it is essential to select the category corresponding to your motorcycle's year of registration.
The 2021-2024 generation is fitted with an original Euro 5 exhaust system with a single lambda sensor and an underengine silencer position. Our full exhaust system replicates this configuration, with an underengine outlet replacing the headers, central junction and silencer while maintaining compatibility with the original mounting points. The catalytic converter is available as a selectable option.
The 2025 onwards generation introduces a substantial update: the CP2 engine grows to 690 cc in Euro 5+ spec, with Y-CCT ride-by-wire featuring three riding modes, a new 41 mm inverted fork, extended swingarm and revised frame. The Euro 5+ platform uses two lambda sensors — a technically relevant difference for those choosing the version without catalytic converter, as removing the catalytic converter generates fault code P0420 and triggers the MIL warning light. The space required to correctly house the catalytic converter in compliance with Euro 5+ specifications no longer allows underengine positioning: the silencer is therefore positioned laterally. In both cases these are full exhaust systems — not simple muffler replacements — because the original Tracer 7 configuration does not allow replacement of the silencer alone. Our system replaces the entire path from the engine outlet to the terminal, maintaining compatibility with the original mounting points without structural modifications. The mounting kit is included; we recommend installation by a qualified mechanic.
The benefits of a full sport exhaust system on a sport tourer like the Tracer 7 are concrete and noticeable: the weight reduction compared to the original system lightens an already one of the lightest motorcycles in its category, with a direct effect on handling. The sound of the CP2 gains in definition and character, enhancing a parallel twin whose main strength lies in the progressiveness of its power delivery. Replacing the entire exhaust path can favour more efficient flow management, with a more linear and direct throttle response in certain riding conditions.

Every exhaust is made to order with internal manufacturing and assembly, followed by direct quality control before shipment. Direct sales from the manufacturer ensure a transparent relationship both on the product and on after-sales support, with no intermediaries.
Every exhaust system is supplied with the dB killer as standard. Its removal invalidates the homologation and is not officially supported. The No-Noise version, where available, integrates a welded internal filter for further noise reduction without significant impact on performance. The catalytic converter is selectable in the drop-down menu on the product page: the catalysed version is required to maintain full road-legal compliance, as our full exhaust system also replaces the original catalysed section. Two end cap versions are also available — V1 and V2 — differing in shape and aesthetic profile.
