Soundproofing material replacement
The soundproofing material is the internal fibre inside the silencer that absorbs the sound waves from the exhaust gases, contributing to the overall sound attenuation of the system. Over time and with use — particularly under intense riding conditions or on track — it progressively deteriorates and loses its sound-absorbing properties. Periodic replacement is part of the silencer's routine maintenance and restores the system's original acoustic characteristics while ensuring compliance with noise regulations.
Before purchasing, select the correct sleeve length — 285 mm or 400 mm — and the silencer model you own from the drop-down menu to receive the correct kit. The kit includes the soundproofing material and the rivets needed to re-secure the components. If in doubt, contact us via the Contact page or chat before ordering.
Replacement requires removing the retaining bands and rivets that hold the silencer components together. The bands can be reused. As an alternative to DIY replacement, you can send the silencer directly to our facility: contact us to request a quote.
Processing times for spare parts are generally faster than for made-to-order configurations: updated times are visible at checkout.
