In 2013 the Tiger 1050 changed its name and identity: the Tiger Sport was born, a thorough reworking of the British roadster with the 1050 cc three-cylinder engine brought to 125 hp, a completely revised chassis and — the element that visually sets it apart from its predecessor — a new single-sided swingarm specifically designed to redefine the rear of the motorcycle and free up space for the new high silencer. The exhaust system remains a three-into-one with the muffler in a high lateral position, a deliberate aesthetic and technical choice that Triumph consciously maintained in this generation as well. The Tiger Sport 2013-2015 is a sport touring motorcycle with a clear road-oriented character, 17-inch wheels, fully adjustable suspension and an engine that remains one of the most distinctive three-cylinders ever produced. The sport silencer we produce for the Tiger 1050 Sport 2013-2015 is designed to replace the original muffler, leaving the headers and the mid-section of the exhaust system unchanged. This is not a full system replacement: our sport exhaust silencer connects to the original fittings of the motorcycle without requiring any structural modifications. The original catalytic section remains in place, as our intervention concerns exclusively the final silencer. The mounting kit is included in the supply with everything needed for installation. For best results, it is advisable to have the fitting carried out by a qualified mechanic.
The 1050 cc three-cylinder engine in this 125 hp version has a tonal progression that few engines can match: full from low revs, muscular in the mid-range, with a character that grows naturally with the revs. The original silencer does its job well, but tends to contain that voice more than the engine actually requires. Fitting a sport exhaust silencer allows that characteristic to come through, delivering a more defined and distinctive sound, consistent with the motorcycle's character. In terms of weight, the reduction compared to the standard muffler is noticeable on a motorcycle of this displacement, with positive effects on mass distribution and cornering agility. In some configurations, the different management of exhaust gas flow can contribute to a more direct throttle response in the most frequently used rev range. Actual results vary depending on the chosen configuration and how the motorcycle is used.

For those who prefer to reduce sound emission further — for example for predominantly urban use or personal preference — the No-Noise version is available, featuring an internal metal mesh filter that reduces decibels without significantly altering engine behaviour. Both options can be selected directly on the product page. Removing the dB killer invalidates the road homologation.
With only the sport silencer installed, ECU remapping is generally not required. The motorcycle operates normally without any additional electronic intervention. Any optimisations can be evaluated on a case-by-case basis depending on the chosen configuration.
