The Roadsitalia silencers for the F 650 GS exclusively replace the original end can, mounted in the lateral position. This is not a full exhaust system: the headers and the front section of the exhaust remain the original ones. Each silencer is supplied with the complete fitting kit — link pipe, springs, band clamp with rubber, spacers and brackets — and is designed to match the original mounting points without any modifications. Installation is within reach for those with basic mechanical skills, but we always recommend having it fitted by a qualified mechanic to ensure a correct and safe attachment.

The most immediate advantage of replacing the original end can is the weight reduction. The stock silencer on the F 650 GS is quite heavy, and switching to a sport unit noticeably reduces the weight at the rear of the motorcycle, with a tangible benefit in overall handling. In addition, there is an improvement in the exhaust note: the Rotax single-cylinder already has a distinctive voice of its own, and a sport silencer delivers a fuller and more defined sound, without however altering the character of the motorcycle or becoming excessive in everyday use.

We manufacture each silencer in our workshop in Lombardy, with handcrafted manufacturing in Lombardy, province of Bergamo. Every unit is made to order and internally inspected before dispatch. This means that each silencer leaving our workshop has been individually checked. Direct sales from the manufacturer allow us to maintain a direct relationship with the end customer, from the selection phase through to after-sales support.

As this involves only the replacement of the end can, the ECU of the F 650 GS does not normally require any remapping. The engine management system continues to operate with the original parameters, and no anomalies or need for additional electronic adjustments arise.

All our silencers are supplied with a standard dB killer included. The dB killer is not officially removable: its removal invalidates the homologation of the product.
