The design of the second-generation MT-03 starts from solid foundations: a 321 cc parallel twin with progressive power delivery, a diamond tubular frame, a 37 mm KYB inverted fork and a 298 mm front disc brake. A 168 kg motorcycle that handles naturally, with a 780 mm seat height that puts even younger riders at ease. This is not a bike for those who want to show off — it is a bike for those who want to ride. And those who buy it often find themselves more attached to it than they expected. The exhaust terminal is one of the first modifications its owners consider: it changes the sound, reduces weight at the rear and gives the bike a more defined personality, while keeping intact the rideability that sets it apart. Our sport silencer is designed to replace the original muffler while maintaining compatibility with the standard headers and mounting points. It is not a full exhaust system: the work involves the end terminal only. The original catalytic section remains in place. The mounting kit is included; for a correct result it is advisable to rely on a qualified mechanic.
The most immediate benefit is the weight reduction at the rear axle, with a direct effect on handling during direction changes. The sound improves in quality and presence — fuller, more rounded, consistent with the character of the parallel twin — without excessive transformation compared to the original. In terms of power delivery, replacing the muffler can make throttle response feel more direct and contribute to a sensation of greater reactivity in certain riding conditions.
We produce our sport exhausts through handcrafted manufacturing in Lombardy, in the province of Bergamo. Most are made to order, with an internal quality check before each shipment. Direct sales from the manufacturer allow us a direct relationship with the customer, with no intermediaries.
Every silencer is supplied with the dB killer fitted as standard. Its removal invalidates the homologation and is not officially supported. Where available, the No-Noise version integrates a welded internal filter that further reduces the sound level without significantly affecting power delivery — selectable on the product page.
Replacing the muffler only does not normally require any remapping of the ECU. The electronic fuel injection management remains unchanged and engine behaviour in everyday riding is not significantly altered. For particular configurations or specific doubts, we are available to assess on a case-by-case basis.
