Roadsitalia Titanium exhaust for BMW F 800ST
What I'm describing is the second exhaust I have bought from Roadsitalia, as the other one was irreparably damaged after an accident.
The bend had survived, so I was allowed to buy just the silencer, saving a little.
The weight saving and the big aesthetic improvement over the stock silencer, which looks like a water heater, alone are worth the price of the modification. The sound is fuller and more bodied down low and pleasantly more aggressive up high, without overdoing it. The performance also seems improved to me, especially combined with a more permeable filter.
This is with the db-killer fitted. Without it, the performance increase is more marked, especially at the top, while the sound becomes really nasty, again especially at high rpm.
If you are careful with the throttle you can even ride in town with a certain calm. Much depends anyway on the tolerance level of the place you are in, so it is a choice to always consider carefully.
Even in "normal" configuration the exhaust does its job and meets expectations well.
Over time the finish stays impeccable, especially if you take care to apply a protective product now and then, particularly if you ride on dirty or dusty roads.
For me it is a recommendable product.
