Powergate 4 by Alientech: the technology behind the kit
Alientech is a benchmark name in ECU programming for cars, motorcycles and special vehicles, and the working standard for tuning professionals across Europe. The Powergate 4 is its latest generation: it runs from a smartphone through a dedicated app, with a vehicle list that keeps growing.
Developed specifically for Kawasaki Z900
Kawasaki Z900 is fitted with the 948 cc inline-four, which in stock form delivers 125 hp (92.2 kW) at 9,500 rpm and 98.6 Nm of torque at 7,700 rpm.
This is not a generic map: it is developed from the original map of Kawasaki Z900, read directly from the ECU, to optimise the performance and power delivery of this specific model. It pairs perfectly with our sports exhausts: for anyone already considering an exhaust change, or who has already made it, this is the map designed to make the most of it.
What actually changes on the road
A professional map is not just a higher number on a dyno chart: it changes throttle response, power delivery in every gear, and the torque available where it matters. With a sports exhaust or air filter already fitted, a dedicated map is what allows them to be used to their full potential. With the right configuration, performance improves further.
What the kit includes

- Up to 4 racing maps for the same bike: the one matching the configuration indicated is supplied first, the others can be requested later, when the configuration changes
How it works: two separate stages
1. At the time of purchase: answering the 4 questions about the bike configuration (Exhaust, Catalytic converter, dB killer, Air filter) tells us which version of the map to prepare.
- After the purchase, once the kit arrives, connect the tool to the diagnostic port and open the app
- Read the original ECU map through the app: it stays saved for a future restore, at any time
- Once the reading is complete, the app automatically sends the original map to specialised technicians
- The racing map is developed for the model and the configuration indicated, usually within one working day, and arrives directly in the app, with a notification on your smartphone
- Upload the map through the app: the bike is ready
From that point on it is possible to switch between the available maps whenever needed, an unlimited number of times, and to return to the original map independently.

Compatibility
This kit is specific to Kawasaki Z900 (2017-2026).
A2-restricted bike (35 kW): on the Z900 from 2018, the A2 restriction is electronic only and the map can unlock the bike up to about 100 hp: the A2 Z900 is built on a different base and does not reach the power of the standard version. The map without the A2 restriction must be requested in writing, in the order notes; the original A2 map stays saved and can be restored at any time.
