BMW R nineT / R 12 nineT is fitted with the 1,170 cc boxer twin, which in stock form delivers 109 hp (80 kW) at 7,000 rpm and 115 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The kit covers both the R nineT (2014-2023) and the R 12 nineT (from 2024), which share displacement and engine architecture but have a different frame and tuning. Please specify the exact model and year when submitting the original map.

What actually changes on the road

A professional map is not just a higher number on a dyno chart: it changes throttle response, power delivery in every gear, and the torque available where it matters. How it works: two separate stages

1. At the time of purchase: answering the 4 questions about the bike configuration (Exhaust, Catalytic converter, dB killer, Air filter) tells us which version of the map to prepare.

1. After the purchase, once the kit arrives, connect the tool to the diagnostic port and open the app
2. Read the original ECU map through the app: it stays saved for a future restore, at any time
3. Once the reading is complete, the app automatically sends the original map to specialised technicians
4. The racing map is developed for the model and the configuration indicated, usually within one working day, and arrives directly in the app, with a notification on your smartphone
5. Upload the map through the app: the bike is ready

From that point on it is possible to switch between the available maps whenever needed, an unlimited number of times, and to return to the original map independently.

Compatibility

This kit is specific to BMW R nineT / R 12 nineT (2014-2026).

A2-restricted bike (35 kW): on the R nineT and R 12 nineT from 2022, the A2 restriction is electronic only and the map can restore full power. The map without the A2 restriction must be requested in writing, in the order notes; the original A2 map stays saved and can be restored at any time.
